On any given day, we can receive numerous requests for the same moving date, and we book up quickly. If you would like to book with us, it is best to do so as soon as possible (but no more than two months in advance). We are happy to accommodate last minute moves- for instance when other moving companies don’t show, when our schedule allows. Do not hesitate to call us and check the availability. We operate on a first come, first serve basis. All requested dates are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us.

Yes. Your booking is only secure with us once we receive your deposit.

Yes, we are insured. We are also registered with the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) and are licenced with the Ministry of Transportation.

Yes. All of our movers have received in-house professional training. They are fully bonded and on our payroll. We do not contract out our work to freelance workers.

Yes we can! Cargo Cabbie Express can help with your small moves in the downtown Toronto area.

Cargo Cabbie is located in Etobicoke, but we are happy to assist with moves outside of our local area. However, based on the location, you may incur some travel fees. This will always be clearly stated on your estimate.

Plastic Bin Rentals

Our bins are quite roomy and you can pack quite a bit into them. The dimensions of our bins are: 27″ long x 17″ wide x 12″ high. Please remember to not overpack the bins with heavy items such as books.

Yes. Upon delivery, we will need someone to sign the agreement. Upon pickup, we will need you to be present while we count and inspect your Cargo Cabbie Bins.

Yes! Cargo Cabbie is an award winning moving company located in Etobicoke minutes away from downtown Toronto. Please call our office or visit our website to discuss your move

If a bin is lost or damaged, the cost is $39.95 for replacement. Bins should be stored in a dry area, and always covered, as weather can damage the bins.

We do our best to keep our customers informed on the day of delivery. If our driver is running behind, we will contact you by phone and/or email with an update.

If a delivery/pick up is scheduled and someone is not present to accept the delivery/pick up, a fee of $25 will be charged, and the delivery/pick up will be rescheduled. Note: our driver’s are only able to wait a maximum of 15 minutes at your location due to other deliveries.

Weekly rental starts on the day your boxes are delivered, and ends after 7 days. For example, your bins are delivered Saturday they would be picked up the following Saturday.

Yes, call as soon as you know that you will need them longer than your initial rental period. We also call the day before we pick up your bins, to ensure if the bins are ready for pick up, or if you need more time to unpack.

If additional bins are required, give us a call and we will do our best to help you, and arrange delivery as soon as possible!
